Dr. Radosław Folga
A graduate of the Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice, majoring in Urban and Regional Economics and Public Relations, he also completed a Pedagogical Studies program in pedagogy and economics. He earned his doctorate in economics in 2017 from the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Katowice. He worked at the City Hall for seven years. Oświęcim, the last four of which were in a managerial position. His first job was in OświęcimCultural Center.
Since 2007, he has been working at the Witold Pilecki Małopolska State University in Oświęcimiu, as an assistant professor at the Institute of Management and Production Engineering, where he also served as deputy director of the institute until August 31, 2020. In the years 2012-2016 he was a member of the Senate of the Małopolska State University named after Captain Witold Pilecki in Oświęcimyes.
Dr. Radosław Folga actively participates in academic conferences. His research interests include economics, marketing, particularly public relations, territorial marketing, and public management. He is the author of sixteen publications in the fields of marketing, public sector management, and economics. Several of these publications have been published in English.
He has extensive experience in student affairs. For ten years, he has served as the coordinator of student internships in the Management program. In the period 2013-2020, he served as the academic supervisor of the Student Public Initiatives Club "Orły" and several times as a supervisor for first-year students. Together with students, he organized multi-day workshop trips, study visits, and numerous events at the university. In the ministerial pilot Paid Professional Internship Program, he was the coordinator of student internships, and in the current project "University at a Higher Level - an integrated development program of the University of Management named after Captain Witold Pilecki in Oświęcimiu" serves as the coordinator of the Institutes for student training.
In the years 2012-2016 he served as the Disciplinary Ombudsman for Students.
Dr. Radosław Folga is active not only professionally but also socially. He is involved in charitable activities focused on helping children in orphanages.
