On April 17, 2026, students of preschool and early school pedagogy: Oliwia Wanat – chairwoman of the Student Scientific Club of Family Pedagogues and Kornelia Słowik – deputy chairwoman, took part in the 4th Scientific and Methodological Conference entitled "School in the Face of Contemporary Challenges", which took place in Bielsko-Biała.

The event was organized by the "Jonatan" Educational Institutions and the Bielsko Institute for Educational Development.

The conference's theme was: "Schools Facing Loneliness and Hate – Communication as the Superpower of the 21st Century." The event's program included numerous lectures and workshops on contemporary educational challenges, with particular emphasis on the role of communication in building relationships and counteracting exclusion.

During the conference, Kornelia Słowik gave a lecture entitled "You don't have to like each other, but... - about respect in early childhood education", in which she addressed the importance of mutual respect in the school environment and building a safe space for students.

Participating in the conference was a valuable and inspiring experience for the students. The knowledge and practical tips they gained will undoubtedly be used in their further academic development and future careers.
