Access to the University is also provided by buses from Wadowice and the surrounding area, Kraków, Bieruń, Kęty, and Chełmek.
Oświęcim It lies at the intersection of national and regional transit routes, making it much easier to reach the city. It is close to Krakow (approx. 70 km), Wadowice (approx. 30 km), Katowice (approx. 35 km), and Bielsko-Biała (approx. 35 km), as well as the Beskid Mountains.
You can get to the city by:
- from Katowice: road E 75 towards Tychy, and then road no. 44 to Oświęcimwas going;
- from Bielsko-Biała: route no. 1, at the height of Pszczyna turn onto road no. 933 through Brzeszcze to Oświęcimia
- from Kęty: road no. 948
- from Wadowice: road no. 28 to Zator, then road no. 44 to Oświęcimia; from Wadowice you can also get to Oświęcimia via Kęty; Wadowice – Kęty: route no. 52 via Andrychów.
