SELF-SERVICE SCANNER
Free self-service scanners are available in the Reading Room. These devices allow you to save images in the most popular formats (including JPG, TIF, and PDF). Files can be sent via email or saved to an external hard drive or USB drive.
Scanning of collections is permitted under fair use, for personal scientific, research, and teaching purposes. Users are obligated to comply with applicable legal provisions (in particular copyright) and are responsible for any violations thereof.
BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES
MUP Library Oświęcim prepares bibliographic lists at the individual request of readers (based on its own collections: books and articles from subscribed magazines).

Compilations are provided free of charge. The deadline for completion is agreed upon with the librarian.
The selected collections are made available in accordance with the MUP Library Regulations. Oświęcim.
INTERLIBRARY LOAN
If the documents you are looking for are not available in the MUP Library Oświęcim and Oświęcim libraries, it is possible to obtain them through interlibrary loans from other national libraries.
Items ordered by readers are delivered within a month from libraries across Poland to the MUP Library Reading Room. Oświęcim.
Interlibrary loans can be used by employees and students MUP Oświęcim.
You can place an order for 5 items (books, magazine articles) at a time.
Orders should be placed through your account in the library catalog. time.
The order processing time is approximately one month.
The reader is notified by email about the arrival of the ordered work and the date of its return.
Library materials imported via interlibrary loan may be made available only in the Library Reading Room and under no circumstances may they be issued outside the Library.
The deadline for using ordered materials is set by the lending library.
The costs associated with shipping the items or photocopies are borne by the ordering party, as invoiced by the sending institution. If the reader fails to pick up the ordered materials, the Library may charge the full shipping costs.
The following items are not subject to interlibrary loan:
- special collections;
- encyclopedia, dictionary, bibliographic and other information publications;
- publications published before 1945;
- magazines (photocopies are sent for a fee);
- works in poor state of preservation;
- works from the reading room's reference collections.
