
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
Recruitment documents:
First-cycle studies and uniform master's studies:
- Photocopies of secondary school leaving certificates and school leaving certificates – (original certificates available for inspection on site);
- 1 photography compliant with the requirements used when issuing identity cards based on the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 27 October 2023 on the template of the identity card, its issuance and collection as well as its loss, damage, cancellation and return (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 2798, as amended) and on the basis of the Act of 6 August 2010 on identity cards (previously scanned and attached in the IRK system);
- Questionnaire passenger – completed in the IRK system (Internetowa Rekrutacja Kandydatów) and printed and certified with a handwritten signature;
- In the case of majors: internal security, dietetics, nursing, preschool and early school education, physical education, emergency medical services medical certificate issued by an occupational medicine physician necessary information at the link;
- Proof of payment for the recruitment process for studies to the University's account – 85 PLN (more information below);
- ID card (available for inspection on site).
Second-cycle studies:
- Photocopy of higher education diploma (original diploma available for inspection on site), if the candidate has not yet received a higher education diploma zcertificate of completion of studiesin higher education along with the final grade;
- 1 photography compliant with the requirements applicable to the issuance of identity cards pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 27 October 2023 regarding the template of the identity card, its issuance and collection as well as its loss, damage, cancellation and return (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 2798, as amended) and pursuant to the Act of 6 August 2010 on identity cards (previously scanned and attached in the IRK system);
- Personal questionnaire – completed in the IRK system (Internetowa Rekrutacja Kandydatów) and printed and certified with a handwritten signature;
- In the case of direction nursing and homeland security medical certificate issued by a medical doctor working necessary information under the link;
- Proof of payment for the recruitment process for studies to the University's account – 85 PLN (more information below);
- ID card (available for inspection on site).
Foreigners are required to know Polish. They can certify their knowledge of Polish with an appropriate certificate.

Candidates who wish to have a printed electronic student ID card (ELS) are required to submit an application for an electronic student ID card (ELS) together with proof of payment for printing the ID card.

– Fees must be paid into the University’s accounts, as cash payments are not possible.
– In the transfer title, please enter: type of payment, name and surname of the candidate, field of study, level of study (first, second cycle or uniform master’s studies) and mode of study (full-time, part-time).
– All candidates who received an electronic student ID card of the Małopolska State University in previous years Oświęcimiu, are obliged to inform about this fact during recruitment.
– Candidates for studies who hold a student ID issued by the Małopolska State University in Oświęcimand after October 1, 2023, which can be activated and extended, do not have to pay the ID card fee. Please bring your old ID card along with your documents during recruitment.
– If the old ID card has been lost or destroyed, this information is necessary for the University, because printing a new ID card is only possible after deactivating the previous ID card.

Application for issuing an electronic student ID card (ELS) – (for people who want to have a physically printed student ID card) together with an attached proof of payment for printing the ID card PLN 22. (print here).
If the candidate is unable to submit the documents in person within the specified deadlines, he or she may appoint a representative – the candidate is then asked to fill in the form. (print here).
Candidates for studies who are under 18 years of age on the day of submitting documents are required to submit documentation together with the written consent of their legal guardian (form available here).(print here)
Due to the legal obligation arising from the Act of 13 May 2016 on counteracting threats of sexual crimes and the protection of minors (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 560), candidates for studies in the following fields:
- dietetics,
- English Philology,
- preschool and early school pedagogy,
- resocialization pedagogy,
- first degree nursing (lic.),
- second degree nursing (M.Sc.),
- emergency medical services,
- physical education
are required to submit:
- a certificate from the Register of persons in respect of whom the State Commission for Counteracting the Sexual Exploitation of Minors Under the Age of 15 has issued a decision to enter them in the Register – within the meaning of the Act. - information from the National Criminal Register regarding specific crimes in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) or for prohibited acts corresponding to these crimes specified in the provisions of law alien. Information from the National Criminal Register can be obtained in person at the District Court or via the website of the Ministry of Justice https://ekrk.ms.gov.pl/.
When submitting an application, regardless of the method, the following content must be included in the application:
in the scope of crimes specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) or for prohibited acts corresponding to these crimes specified in the provisions of foreign law.
When submitting an application in person to the District Court, the original of the received document must be delivered to the University.

Moreover, candidates or students who hold citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Poland are obliged to submit to the University information from the criminal record of their country of citizenship obtained for the purposes of professional or volunteer activities related to contacts with children.
If candidates or students have resided in a country or countries other than the Republic of Poland or the student's or candidate's country of citizenship within the last 20 years, they must submit a relevant declaration to this effect and submit to the University information from the criminal records of those countries, obtained for the purposes of professional or volunteer activities involving contact with children. The declaration form is available at the institute's secretariats.
If the law of a given country does not provide for the disclosure of information for the purposes of professional or volunteer activities related to contact with children, information from the criminal record of that country shall be submitted.
If the law of the country from which the information is to be submitted does not provide for its preparation or a given country does not maintain a criminal record, the candidate or student shall submit to the University a declaration of this fact together with a declaration that he or she has not been finally convicted in that country for prohibited acts corresponding to the offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction and that no other judgment has been issued against him or her in which it was found that he or she has committed such prohibited acts, and that he or she is not obliged, under a court decision, other authorized body or act, to comply with a ban on occupying any or specific positions, performing any or specific professions or activities related to the upbringing, education, recreation, treatment, provision of psychological counseling, spiritual development, practicing sports or the pursuit of other interests by minors, or with caring for them.
The above declarations are submitted under penalty of criminal liability for making a false declaration.
Persons with a disability certificate are requested to deliver a photocopy of this document (with the original for inspection) to the Academic Support Center for Persons with Special Needs, room 1.14, Collegium Primum building..
