Academic calendar 2023/2024
ORGANIZATION OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024
The academic year 2023/2024 begins on 1 October 2023 and lasts until 30 September 2024. It is divided into two semesters:
1) winter – from 1 October 2023 to 25 February 2024;
2) summer – from 26 February 2024 to 30 September 2024.
In the academic year 2023/2024 classes are held on the following dates:
1) from 1 October 2023 to 22 December 2023;
2) from 2 January 2024 to 28 January 2024;
3) from 26 February 2024 to 28 March 2024;
4) from 03 April 2024 to 23 June 2024.
In the academic year 2023/2024 the exam sessions take place on the following dates:
Winter finals:
from 29 January 2024 to 11 February 2024;
Winter retakes:
from 19 February 2024 to 25 February 2024;
Summer finals:
from 24 June 2024 to 07 July 2024;
Summer retakes:
from 2 September 2024 to 15 September 2024.
In the 2023/2024 academic year, the following days are excluded from the exam sessions:
1) Christmas break:
From 23 December 2023 to 1 January 2024;
2) Semester break:
From 12 February 2024 to 18 February 2024;
3) Easter break:
From 29 March 2024 to 02 April 2024;
4) Holiday break for students:
From 08 July 2024 to 1 September 2024;
5) All Saints’ Day: 1 November 2023;
6) National Independence Day: 11 November 2023;
7) Three Kings’ Day: 6 January 2024;
8) International Labor Day: 1 May 2024;
9) May 3 Constitution Day: 3 May 2024;
10) Pentecost: 19 May 2024;
11) Corpus Christi: 30 May 2024;
12) Rector’s day: 02 May 2024.
