Insurance
During your stay in Poland, a foreign student must have a compulsory HEALTH INSURANCE valid for the territory of Poland, allowing for the use of healthcare in the territory of the European Union:
1. student from a European Union country should have a European Health Insurance Card issued in his own country,
2. student from other country than the European Union must have medical / health insurance obtained in his own country or join a voluntary health insurance in Poland offered by:
– Polish National Health Fund (NFZ)

(the monthly cost of individual insurance: 70 PLN / 19 EUR).
We also recommend that you have liability insurance coverage (covering damages caused by the student at the study place) and accident insurance coverage.
Visa
The citizen of the European Union doesn’t need a visa to enter and stay in territory of Poland.

A non-EU citizen must have a visa, which is a consent the authorities of the country for entry and stay in Poland.
Visa is issued by the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in your home country.
